This Quotation Estimate is issued by East African Civil Engineering Consultants Ltd. in response to the client's request for professional Civil Engineer services to be delivered within the Kampala metropolitan area, Uganda. The purpose of this document is to provide a comprehensive, transparent, and itemized breakdown of all costs associated with the proposed civil engineering consultancy engagement. This Quotation Estimate covers the full scope of design, structural analysis, site supervision, and project management services that our licensed Civil Engineer team will deliver at the designated project site in Uganda Kampala.
All rates quoted herein are based on current market conditions in Uganda Kampala as of the date of issue and comply with the standards set by the Engineers Board of Uganda (EBU) and the Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) guidelines where applicable.
The Civil Engineer services outlined in this Quotation Estimate encompass the following deliverables to be executed in Uganda Kampala:
- Site Survey and Topographical Mapping: Comprehensive geotechnical investigation, soil sampling, and topographical survey of the project site located in Kampala, Uganda, including borehole drilling and laboratory soil testing.
- Structural Design and Engineering Calculations: Full structural design of the proposed building or infrastructure, including foundation design, load calculations, seismic considerations, and compliance with the National Building Regulations of Uganda.
- Architectural and Civil Drawings: Production of detailed construction drawings, working drawings, and as-built documentation in AutoCAD and Revit formats.
- Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation: Detailed bill of quantities (BOQ), material take-off, and cost estimation for all civil works to be executed in the Kampala, Uganda project area.

The total amount stated in this Quotation Estimate shall be disbursed according to the following milestone-based payment schedule, subject to satisfactory completion of each phase by the Civil Engineer team in Uganda Kampala:
- 30% Advance Payment (UGX 25,027,800): Payable upon signing of the service agreement and receipt of this Quotation Estimate acceptance, prior to commencement of site survey activities.
- 25% Design Completion (UGX 20,856,500): Payable upon delivery and client approval of all structural designs, engineering calculations, and construction drawings.
- 35% Construction Supervision (UGX 29,200,000): Payable in equal monthly installments of UGX 4,866,667 per month over the six-month supervision period.
- 10% Final Payment (UGX 8,342,600): Payable upon project handover, submission of as-built drawings, and final sign-off by the client in Uganda Kampala.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Uganda Kampala.
- All services shall be performed by a licensed and registered Civil Engineer in good standing with the Engineers Board of Uganda (EBU), holding a valid professional practice certificate.
- The client agrees to provide timely access to the project site in Kampala, Uganda, and to furnish all necessary project briefs, existing drawings, and site information within five (5) working days of contract commencement.
- Any variation or change in scope beyond what is described in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional cost assessment by the Civil Engineer.
- All payments shall be made in Uganda Shillings (UGX) via bank transfer to the account of East African Civil Engineering Consultants Ltd. at the designated bank in Kampala, Uganda.
- The Civil Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of UGX 500,000,000 for the duration of the engagement in Uganda Kampala.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate and the resulting service agreement shall be resolved through mediation in Kampala, Uganda, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
- All intellectual property, including design documents, calculations, and drawings produced by the Civil Engineer, shall become the property of the client upon full payment of all amounts due under this Quotation Estimate.
