Validity: This Quotation Estimate shall remain valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issuance. After this period, all rates and availability of the Civil Engineer team must be reconfirmed in writing.
Payment Schedule: 20% upon execution of the contract, 25% upon completion of design phase, 40% in monthly progress payments during construction oversight, and 15% upon final closeout and delivery of as-built documents.
Licensing & Insurance: All Civil Engineer personnel assigned to this project in the United States Los Angeles area shall hold active California Professional Engineer (PE) licenses. Meridian Civil Engineering carries $5,000,000 in professional liability insurance and $2,000,000 in general liability coverage.
Change Orders: Any modification to the scope of work beyond the parameters described in this Quotation Estimate shall be documented via a formal Change Order signed by both parties before additional work commences.
Confidentiality: All project data, site surveys, and engineering calculations prepared by our Civil Engineer team for the Los Angeles Metropolitan Development Authority shall be treated as proprietary and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, with jurisdiction in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, United States.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall first be subject to mediation in Los Angeles, California, before either party may pursue litigation.
