The Civil Engineer services outlined in this Quotation Estimate are scheduled over an estimated 14-month period commencing upon execution of the contract. Phase 1 (Geotechnical & Foundation Design) is anticipated to be completed within 8 weeks. Phase 2 (Superstructure & Stormwater Design) will follow within 10 weeks. Phase 3 (Permitting & Construction Observation) will span the duration of active construction. All timelines are subject to Miami-Dade County review cycles and weather-related delays typical of the United States Miami hurricane season (June through November).
- Payment Schedule: 25% upon contract execution, 35% upon completion of design deliverables, 25% upon permit approval, and 15% upon final as-built certification. All payments are due within 30 days of invoice date.
- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be adjusted to reflect changes in material costs, labor rates, or regulatory requirements in United States Miami.
- Change Orders: Any scope modifications beyond the Civil Engineer services described herein will be subject to a written change order with revised pricing approved by both parties prior to commencement of additional work.
- Insurance & Liability: South Florida Civil Engineering Group, LLC maintains Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) insurance in the amount of $2,000,000 per occurrence and $5,000,000 aggregate, as well as General Liability insurance of $1,000,000, in compliance with Florida Statute Chapter 455.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
- Intellectual Property: All Civil Engineer design documents, calculations, and stamped drawings produced under this engagement remain the property of the client upon full payment. The engineering firm retains the right to use general design methodologies in future projects.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by hurricanes, tropical storms, flooding, or other natural events common to the United States Miami coastal region, provided that reasonable notice is given within 48 hours of the event.
