The following Civil Engineer services are included in this Quotation Estimate for the project situated in United States New York City:

• Structural design and engineering calculations for a 28-story mixed-use tower, including foundation design (deep pile foundations), superstructure, and seismic compliance per NYC Building Code and ASCE 7-16.
• Geotechnical engineering assessment, including soil bearing capacity analysis, groundwater mitigation strategies, and dewatering system design specific to the Hudson River waterfront conditions in United States New York City.

1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issuance. After the expiration date, all rates and costs are subject to revision based on current market conditions in United States New York City.
2. All Civil Engineer services shall be performed in strict accordance with the New York State Education Law, the NYC Building Code, and all applicable federal, state, and municipal regulations governing professional engineering practice in United States New York City.
3. The Civil Engineer of record, Daniel R. Kowalski, P.E., shall retain full professional responsibility for all engineering deliverables and shall affix the New York State Professional Engineer seal to all stamped drawings and reports.
4. Any changes to the scope of work beyond what is described in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a written change order signed by both parties. Additional costs for scope changes will be estimated at the prevailing hourly rate of $285 per hour for senior Civil Engineer staff and $165 per hour for junior engineering staff.
5. The client agrees to provide timely access to the project site at 2200 Riverside Avenue, Manhattan, United States New York City, and to furnish all necessary project documentation, geotechnical reports, and third-party data within five (5) business days of request.
6. Meridian Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Group, LLC shall maintain professional liability insurance of no less than $5,000,000 per occurrence and $10,000,000 aggregate, as well as workers' compensation insurance, throughout the duration of the engagement in United States New York City.
7. All intellectual property, design documents, and engineering calculations produced under this Quotation Estimate shall become the property of the client upon full payment of all invoiced amounts.
8. Disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York County, United States New York City, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
9. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a guarantee of final project costs. Actual costs may vary due to unforeseen site conditions, regulatory changes, or client-directed modifications to the design scope.

The following items are excluded from this Quotation Estimate and shall be billed separately if required:

• Costs associated with third-party laboratory testing, independent geotechnical borings, or specialized environmental sampling beyond the Phase I/II review.
