This Quotation Estimate is issued by Harare Structural & Civil Engineering Consultants (Pvt) Ltd in response to the formal request for professional Civil Engineer services for the design, structural assessment, and construction supervision of a four-storey mixed-use commercial building located in the Borrowdale Industrial District, Zimbabwe Harare. The scope encompasses all structural engineering disciplines including geotechnical investigation review, foundation design, reinforced concrete frame design, steel connection detailing, drainage and stormwater management, and full on-site construction supervision in compliance with the Zimbabwe National Building Regulations (S.I. 10/2012) and the SANS 10400 series of standards as adopted in Zimbabwe Harare.

Our Civil Engineer team will conduct a comprehensive site visit in Zimbabwe Harare to verify existing ground conditions, review the geotechnical borehole report prepared by a licensed geotechnical firm, and produce all structural drawings, calculations, and specifications required for the building permit application at the Harare City Council Planning Department. The Quotation Estimate below reflects all professional fees, travel, and associated costs for the complete engagement.

This Quotation Estimate is structured with the following milestone-based payment schedule to align with the project phases in Zimbabwe Harare:

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing exchange rates and material cost indices in Zimbabwe Harare.
All professional services shall be rendered by a registered Civil Engineer holding a valid PEBEC (Professional Engineers Board of Zimbabwe) practising certificate and shall comply with the Zimbabwe National Building Regulations and the SANS 10400 code of practice.
The client shall provide timely access to the project site in Zimbabwe Harare and supply all existing survey, geotechnical, and architectural drawings within five (5) working days of the agreement commencement date.
Payment terms are net fourteen (14) days from the date of invoice. Late payments shall attract interest at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe base rate plus two percent (2%) per annum.
Any variation in scope beyond the items listed in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written variation order signed by both parties before additional work commences.
The Civil Engineer shall carry professional indemnity insurance of not less than USD 500,000 for the duration of the engagement, with a certificate provided to the client upon request.
All intellectual property, drawings, and calculations produced under this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full and final payment of this Quotation Estimate.
Disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through mediation in Harare, Zimbabwe, in accordance with the Mediation Act [Chapter 7:04] of the Laws of Zimbabwe. Failing mediation, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration Act [Chapter 7:15].
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a contract until countersigned by both parties and the professional services agreement is executed.

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the scope, rates, and terms set forth herein for the provision of Civil Engineer services in Zimbabwe Harare.
