The following scope of work defines the professional services to be delivered by our designated Curriculum Developer. The Curriculum Developer will operate out of our Los Angeles, California office and will conduct on-site consultations at the client's facility in United States Los Angeles as needed. All deliverables will be tailored to the specific academic needs, student demographics, and institutional mission of Pacific Crest Academy.

2.1 Curriculum Design and Development

The Curriculum Developer will design a comprehensive, standards-aligned curriculum framework spanning Grades 6 through 12 across the following subject areas: Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Social Studies, and World Languages (Spanish and Mandarin). The Curriculum Developer will ensure all materials incorporate culturally responsive pedagogy appropriate for the diverse student population in the United States Los Angeles school district.

2.2 Instructional Materials and Resource Creation

The Curriculum Developer will produce all accompanying instructional materials, including lesson plans, unit guides, assessment instruments, rubrics, and supplementary digital resources. All materials will be formatted for both print and digital distribution and will comply with Section 508 accessibility standards.

2.3 Teacher Training and Professional Development

1. This Quotation Estimate is non-binding until formally accepted in writing by both parties. Upon acceptance, it shall constitute a binding service agreement governed by the laws of the State of California.
2. The Curriculum Developer assigned to this project shall be a certified educator with a minimum of ten (10) years of curriculum design experience and familiarity with California Department of Education standards. The client reserves the right to request a substitute of equivalent or superior qualifications.
3. All intellectual property, including but not limited to curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, assessments, and digital resources created by the Curriculum Developer under this engagement, shall become the sole property of Pacific Crest Academy upon full payment.
4. Apex Educational Solutions LLC shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $2,000,000 per occurrence throughout the duration of this engagement in the United States Los Angeles jurisdiction.
5. Either party may terminate this agreement with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall be invoiced for all services rendered up to the termination date, plus any non-recoverable expenses incurred by the Curriculum Developer.
6. This Quotation Estimate does not include costs for third-party software licensing, printing of physical materials beyond 200 copies per subject, or any services outside the scope defined in Section 2. Additional services will be quoted separately.
7. All work shall be performed in compliance with applicable federal and California state employment, data privacy (including FERPA and CCPA), and accessibility regulations.

This Quotation Estimate assumes that the client will provide timely access to existing curriculum documents, student performance data, and facility space for on-site work in Los Angeles.
