- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, all rates and availability must be reconfirmed in writing.
- Payment terms: 50% deposit due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; the remaining 50% payable in equal monthly instalments over the twelve-month engagement period, due on the 28th of each month.
- All amounts are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST at the current rate of 10%, unless otherwise stated.
- The Customs Officer(s) engaged under this Quotation Estimate will operate in strict compliance with the Customs Act 1901 (Cth), the Biosecurity Act 2015 (Cth), and all applicable Victorian state regulations governing trade and border security in Australia Melbourne.
- Meridian Trade Compliance Pty Ltd shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than AUD 10,000,000 and public liability insurance of no less than AUD 20,000,000 for the duration of the engagement.
- The client agrees to provide all necessary import/export documentation, commercial invoices, bills of lading, and product specifications in a timely manner to enable the Customs Officer to perform clearance activities without delay.
- Any additional services beyond the scope defined in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a separate written variation agreement and additional charges at the rates specified in Schedule B of our standard service agreement.
- Either party may terminate this engagement with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the termination date plus a 10% administrative fee on the remaining contract value.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and the initial deposit has been received in full.
- All disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved under the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia Melbourne.
