3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and service terms are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in China Guangzhou and any changes in GACC regulatory requirements.
3.2 Payment Terms: The total amount specified in this Quotation Estimate shall be paid in three equal installments: 40% upon execution of the service agreement, 30% at the midpoint of the engagement period (month six), and 30% upon successful completion of the final quarter. All payments shall be made in CNY via bank transfer to the account of Guangzhou International Trade Compliance Co., Ltd. at China Merchants Bank, Guangzhou Branch.
3.3 Scope Limitation: The services rendered by the Customs Officer under this Quotation Estimate are strictly limited to customs clearance, tariff advisory, and compliance activities within the administrative jurisdiction of China Guangzhou. Any services required at other ports, airports, or inland customs stations within the People's Republic of China shall be subject to a separate Quotation Estimate.
3.4 Regulatory Compliance: The Customs Officer shall at all times comply with the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China, the Regulations on the Implementation of the Customs Law, and all circulars and notices issued by the General Administration of Customs of China and the Guangzhou Customs House. The client acknowledges that the Customs Officer does not provide legal advice; for legal matters, the client shall consult a licensed PRC attorney.
3.5 Confidentiality: All commercial data, shipment details, and client information handled by the Customs Officer in the course of performing duties under this Quotation Estimate shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent from the client.
3.6 Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all fees accrued up to the date of termination, and the Customs Officer shall return all client documents and data within five (5) business days.
3.7 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations under this Quotation Estimate due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed trade restrictions, port closures in China Guangzhou, or changes in national customs policy.
Note: This Quotation Estimate does not include any customs duties, import VAT, consumption tax, or other governmental levies that may be assessed by the Guangzhou Customs House on specific shipments. Such charges are the sole responsibility of the client and are determined by the GACC based on the declared value, HS classification, and applicable trade agreements. The Customs Officer will assist in the accurate calculation and payment of these levies as part of the clearance process.By signing below, the client acknowledges that this Quotation Estimate has been reviewed in its entirety, that all terms and conditions are understood and accepted, and that the engagement of the Customs Officer for operations in China Guangzhou shall commence upon receipt of the initial 40% payment and execution of the formal service agreement.
