The Customs Officer will be responsible for managing all customs clearance procedures, ensuring full compliance with the European Union Customs Union (UCC) regulations, German Federal Customs Administration (Zoll) requirements, and applicable international trade agreements. The services are specifically tailored to the high-volume import and export operations conducted through Frankfurt Airport and the Frankfurt Main Port, making this engagement critical for maintaining uninterrupted supply chain operations in the Germany Frankfurt metropolitan area.
The Customs Officer will hold a valid German customs broker license (Zollvollmacht) and possess a minimum of eight years of experience in international trade compliance. - This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and conditions are subject to revision without prior notice.
- The Customs Officer shall be engaged under a fixed-term service contract for the duration of twelve (12) months, commencing on 1 July 2025 and concluding on 30 June 2026, unless extended by mutual written agreement.
- All services will be performed in strict compliance with the regulations of the German Federal Customs Administration (Bundeszentralamt für Steuern – Zoll) and the European Commission's customs directives applicable in Germany Frankfurt.
- Payment terms: 50% of the monthly service fee shall be invoiced on the 1st of each month, with the remaining 50% due on the 15th. Per-declaration fees (items 2 and 3) shall be invoiced monthly in arrears. All payments are due within fourteen (14) days of invoice date via SEPA bank transfer.
- The Customs Officer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 2,000,000 per claim, valid throughout the engagement period in Germany Frankfurt.
- Confidentiality: All trade data, commercial information, and customs documentation handled by the Customs Officer shall be treated as strictly confidential in accordance with the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with a written notice period of sixty (60) days. In the event of early termination, all fees for services rendered up to the termination date shall remain payable.
- Governing law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Frankfurt am Main, Germany Frankfurt.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed a formal service agreement referencing this document.
