This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Trade & Customs Solutions Sdn. Bhd. to provide a comprehensive and itemised cost breakdown for the engagement of a licensed Customs Officer to manage all import and export clearance operations at the Port of Klang, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), and the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia) offices within the Malaysia Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area.
The Customs Officer assigned under this engagement shall hold a valid Customs Broker licence issued by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department and shall be fully conversant with the Customs Act 1967 (Act 234), the Customs (Prohibition of Imports) Order, the Customs (Prohibition of Exports) Order, and all applicable trade facilitation regulations governing goods movement through Malaysia Kuala Lumpur ports and border checkpoints.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond the validity period shall require a revised Quotation Estimate reflecting current market rates for Customs Officer services in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
- Payment terms: 50% advance payment upon execution of the service agreement; the remaining 50% shall be settled in equal monthly instalments over the twelve (12) month engagement period.
- The assigned Customs Officer shall be a Malaysian citizen holding a valid Customs Broker licence (Lesen Broker Kastam) and shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of RM 1,000,000.
- All services shall be performed in strict compliance with the Customs Act 1967, the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 (AMLA), and all directives issued by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department for operations within Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
- Any additional Customs Officer call-outs beyond the ten (10) included in this Quotation Estimate shall be billed at the prevailing hourly rate of RM 450.00 per hour plus applicable travel surcharges.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include government-imposed duties, taxes, or levies on the client's cargo. The Customs Officer shall advise the client of all applicable charges prior to submission of declarations.
- Confidentiality: All trade data, shipment manifests, and commercial information handled by the Customs Officer in the course of this engagement shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without written consent from the client.
- Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, all fees for services rendered up to the termination date shall be due and payable.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a professional Customs Officer to manage customs clearance operations in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur under the terms and conditions stated herein.
