This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Trade & Logistics Solutions Ltd. to Atlantic Freight & Shipping Co. Ltd. in relation to the recruitment, deployment, and ongoing professional management of a licensed Customs Officer to operate within the Nigeria Lagos corridor. The Customs Officer will be responsible for the full spectrum of customs clearance activities, including but not limited to the preparation and submission of electronic customs declarations (SAD forms), coordination with the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) at Apapa and Tin Can Island ports, verification of import/export documentation, assessment of applicable duties and taxes under the Customs Act 2023, and facilitation of cargo release in strict compliance with all regulatory frameworks governing trade in Nigeria Lagos.
The scope of this Quotation Estimate encompasses the complete lifecycle of the Customs Officer engagement, from initial onboarding and licensing verification through to the conclusion of the twelve-month contract term. All services are to be rendered at the client's designated operational premises in Nigeria Lagos and at relevant NCS offices as required by the nature of the clearance work.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance received after the expiry date will require a revised Quotation Estimate reflecting prevailing market rates in Nigeria Lagos.
- Payment terms: 40% advance upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 30% upon successful onboarding and first month of service delivery by the Customs Officer, and the remaining 30% in two equal monthly instalments during months four and eight of the contract.
- All payments shall be made in Nigerian Naira (NGN) via bank transfer to the account details provided in the accompanying invoice. No cash payments will be accepted.
- The Customs Officer shall be bound by a strict confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement covering all client cargo data, commercial invoices, and trade secrets encountered during operations in Nigeria Lagos.
- Meridian Trade & Logistics Solutions Ltd. shall not be liable for delays in cargo release caused by NCS policy changes, port strikes, or force majeure events beyond the reasonable control of the Customs Officer.
- The client reserves the right to request a replacement Customs Officer within the first 30 days of engagement if performance does not meet the agreed service-level standards, at no additional cost to the client.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and the advance payment has been received in full.
- All disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Nigeria Lagos in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms outlined herein for the engagement of the Customs Officer in Nigeria Lagos.
