The Customs Officer assigned under this Quotation Estimate shall meet the following minimum qualifications: a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in customs operations within Peru Lima; a valid professional license issued by the Peruvian Chamber of Customs Brokers (Cámara de Agentes de Aduana del Perú); demonstrated proficiency in the SUNAT DUA (Declaración Única de Aduanas) electronic platform; fluency in Spanish and English; and a clean record with no disciplinary actions from SUNAT or the Peruvian Ministry of Economy and Finance. The Customs Officer will report directly to the client's Director of Logistics and will operate under the supervision of Andean Trade Compliance Group's regional manager based in Peru Lima.
General Terms Governing This Quotation Estimate
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing and availability of the Customs Officer may be subject to revision.
- Payment terms: 50% advance upon contract execution and 50% upon completion of the twelfth month of service. Invoicing will be issued in accordance with Peruvian tax regulations applicable in Peru Lima.
- All services described in this Quotation Estimate are subject to the prevailing customs legislation of Peru. Any regulatory changes enacted by SUNAT or the Peruvian government during the contract term that materially affect the scope of work will be addressed through a mutual amendment agreement.
- The Customs Officer shall maintain professional confidentiality regarding all client cargo data, commercial information, and operational details encountered during the performance of duties in Peru Lima.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to port strikes, government-mandated closures of customs facilities in Peru Lima, or natural disasters, shall suspend the contractual obligations of both parties without penalty.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Peru Lima in accordance with the rules of the Lima Chamber of Commerce.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties execute a formal service agreement referencing this document by number.
