This Quotation Estimate is issued by Iberia Customs & Trade Solutions S.L. to provide Mediterranean Logistics Group S.A. with a comprehensive and itemised financial projection for the engagement of a licensed Customs Officer to manage, supervise, and facilitate all customs clearance operations at the Port of Barcelona and the Barcelona International Airport (BCN) within the Spain Barcelona metropolitan customs zone. This document serves as a formal, non-binding estimate of costs and does not constitute a final invoice until both parties execute the accompanying Service Agreement.
The Customs Officer services described herein are designed to ensure full compliance with the European Union Customs Union (UCC) regulations, Spanish Royal Decree 289/2010, and all applicable provisions enforced by the Agencia Estatal de Administración Tributaria (AEAT) in the Spain Barcelona region. The scope encompasses import, export, transit, and temporary admission procedures for general cargo, perishable goods, and high-value commercial shipments.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all pricing is subject to revision due to potential changes in AEAT tariff schedules, labour cost adjustments in the Spain Barcelona region, or modifications to EU customs legislation.
- The Customs Officer assigned to this engagement shall hold a valid licence issued by the Spanish Ministry of Finance and shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of €1,000,000 per claim, as mandated by Spanish customs brokerage regulations.
- All services shall be performed in strict accordance with the Union Customs Code (Regulation (EU) No 952/2013), the Spanish Customs Law (Ley 38/1992), and the specific operational protocols of the AEAT office in Spain Barcelona.
- Payment terms: 50% of the total estimated amount shall be due upon contract execution, and the remaining 50% shall be invoiced monthly in arrears. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established by the Spanish Law on Late Payment in Commercial Transactions (Ley 3/2004).
- This Quotation Estimate does not include third-party costs such as port handling fees, terminal storage charges, laboratory inspection fees, or government-imposed duties and taxes on the goods themselves. Such costs shall be borne directly by the client.
- The Customs Officer shall provide a written daily activity report and a consolidated monthly summary of all declarations filed, inspections conducted, and any anomalies or queries raised by AEAT authorities in the Spain Barcelona jurisdiction.
- Either party may terminate the service agreement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, all services rendered up to the termination date shall be invoiced at the rates specified in this Quotation Estimate.
- All personal data processed in connection with this engagement shall comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of the services described herein shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms set forth in this Quotation Estimate for Customs Officer services to be delivered in Spain Barcelona. This signature converts the estimate into a binding service agreement effective from the start date specified in the attached annex.
