1. Scope of Services – Customs Officer Engagement

The Customs Officer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties on a full-time basis at the client's premises in Sudan Khartoum:

  • Management of bonded warehouse operations and temporary admission procedures.
  • Advisory support on trade compliance, sanctions screening, and anti-money laundering obligations specific to Sudan Khartoum.
  • Monthly reporting to the client's management on clearance volumes, duty expenditure, and any regulatory changes affecting operations in Sudan Khartoum.

An equivalent amount in United States Dollars (USD) may be provided upon request at the Central Bank of Sudan's published exchange rate on the date of contract execution. This Quotation Estimate does not include any customs duties, taxes, or levies payable to the Sudanese Customs Authority on behalf of the client's cargo.

3. Terms and Conditions

  1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and availability of the Customs Officer are subject to reconfirmation in writing.
  2. Payment terms: 40% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and signing of the service agreement; 30% upon commencement of the Customs Officer's duties; and 30% upon successful completion of the first three (3) months of service. Remaining monthly payments shall be due on the 5th business day of each subsequent month.
  3. The Customs Officer shall be subject to a probationary period of three (3) months. During this period, either party may terminate the engagement with fourteen (14) days' written notice without penalty.
  4. All services shall be performed in strict compliance with the laws of the Republic of Sudan, including but not limited to the Sudanese Customs Law, the Income Tax Act, the Social Insurance Act, and any regulations issued by the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Sudan applicable to Sudan Khartoum.
  5. The client shall provide a suitable office workspace, internet connectivity, and access to all relevant cargo documentation at their premises in Sudan Khartoum.
  6. Nile Logistics & Trade Advisory Services shall not be held liable for any penalties, fines, or delays imposed by the Sudanese Customs Authority that arise from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.
  7. Confidentiality: All trade data, cargo manifests, and commercial information accessed by the Customs Officer in the course of duties shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without the client's prior written consent.
  8. Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting service agreement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution within thirty (30) days, the matter shall be referred to the competent courts in Sudan Khartoum.
  9. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties.

4. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of a Customs Officer and associated services in Sudan Khartoum.
