1. Scope of Services — Customs Officer Engagement

This Quotation Estimate is issued by Helvetia Trade Compliance Services AG to provide a comprehensive and transparent cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Customs Officer to support the import, export, and transit operations of Alpine Logistics Group GmbH at the Switzerland Zurich port of entry. The proposed Customs Officer will hold a valid Swiss Federal Customs Administration (BAZ) license and possess a minimum of eight years of experience in international trade compliance, tariff classification, and customs brokerage within the Switzerland Zurich region.

The Customs Officer will be responsible for the following core duties throughout the contract period:

Preparation and submission of all customs declarations (SAD, NCTS, and electronic customs declarations) for goods entering or leaving the Switzerland Zurich customs territory.
Tariff classification of goods under the Swiss Tariff Schedule (Zolltarif) and the Harmonized System (HS) nomenclature.
Calculation and verification of import duties, value-added tax (VAT/MWST), and any applicable anti-dumping or countervailing duties.
Management of customs bonds, guarantees, and deferred payment arrangements with the Swiss Federal Customs Administration.
Coordination with the Switzerland Zurich Customs Office (Zollamt Zürich) regarding inspections, audits, and compliance inquiries.
Advisory support on preferential trade agreements, rules of origin, and free trade agreements relevant to Switzerland Zurich trade corridors.
Maintenance of accurate customs records in compliance with the Swiss Customs Act (Zollgesetz) and the Federal Act on Customs.
Monthly reporting and KPI analysis on customs clearance times, duty expenditure, and compliance metrics.

Note: This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. All rates are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) and are inclusive of the Customs Officer's professional fees, statutory employer contributions, and standard working conditions as governed by the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and the Federal Act on the Employment of Foreign Nationals (F&A). Any additional services beyond the scope described herein will be subject to a separate Quotation Estimate issued prior to commencement.

3. Terms and Conditions

3.1 Payment Terms: Invoices for the Customs Officer services will be issued on a monthly basis, payable within 30 days of the invoice date via bank transfer to the account of Helvetia Trade Compliance Services AG at UBS AG, Zurich. A late payment interest of 5% per annum shall apply to overdue balances in accordance with Swiss law.

3.2 Contract Duration and Termination: The engagement of the Customs Officer is for a fixed term of twelve (12) months commencing on 1 September 2025. Either party may terminate the agreement with a written notice of 60 days. In the event of early termination, a pro-rata charge for the remaining period will apply.

3.3 Confidentiality and Data Protection: The Customs Officer shall be bound by strict confidentiality obligations regarding all commercial, customs, and trade data of the client. All personal data shall be processed in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/DSP).

3.4 Regulatory Compliance: The Customs Officer shall perform all duties in strict accordance with the Swiss Customs Act, the Federal Act on Customs, the International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonization of Customs Procedures (Kyoto Convention), and all applicable regulations of the Switzerland Zurich Customs Office.

3.5 Liability: Helvetia Trade Compliance Services AG shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of CHF 5,000,000 per claim. Liability for direct damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Customs Officer shall be capped at the total annual contract value stated in this Quotation Estimate.

3.6 Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.

4. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes Helvetia Trade Compliance Services AG to proceed with the engagement of the Customs Officer for the Switzerland Zurich operations as described herein.
