The Customs Officer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties within the operational jurisdiction of Tanzania Dar es Salaam:

• Preparation, submission, and processing of all customs declarations (Single Administrative Document – SAD) through the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) Integrated Customs Management System (ICMS) at the Dar es Salaam port.
• Classification of goods under the Harmonized System (HS) codes applicable in Tanzania Dar es Salaam and determination of applicable duty rates, Value Added Tax (VAT), and levies.
• Coordination with Tanzania Revenue Authority officers, the Tanzania Ports Authority, and the Tanzania Customs Service at the Tanzania Dar es Salaam port facilities.
• Management of bonded warehouse operations, temporary import/export procedures, and re-export documentation within Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
• Compliance monitoring to ensure all import/export activities adhere to the Customs Management Act, 2015, and all applicable regulations enforced in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
• Monthly reporting to the client on customs expenditure, duty payments, clearance timelines, and any regulatory changes affecting operations in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
• Liaison with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clearing agents operating in Tanzania Dar es Salaam to ensure seamless cargo movement.

• A mobilization advance of 25% of the total Quotation Estimate value shall be payable within seven (7) working days of contract signature.
• Remaining balance shall be invoiced monthly in arrears, payable within fourteen (14) calendar days of invoice date.
• All payments shall be made in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) via bank transfer to the account of East African Trade & Logistics Solutions Ltd. at CRDB Bank, Tanzania Dar es Salaam branch.
• Late payments shall attract a penalty of 2% per month on outstanding balances.

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
• The Customs Officer shall be bound by a strict code of conduct and confidentiality agreement covering all client cargo data, commercial information, and operational details processed in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
• Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In such an event, a pro-rata settlement of the Quotation Estimate shall be applied.
• The Customs Officer shall maintain a valid Customs Broker License issued by the Tanzania Revenue Authority and shall notify the client immediately of any suspension or revocation.
• All services rendered under this Quotation Estimate shall comply with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, including but not limited to the Customs Management Act, 2015, the Income Tax Act, and the National Social Security Fund Act, as applicable in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
• Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in Tanzania Dar es Salaam in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 2020.
• This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and the mobilization advance has been received.
