The Data Scientist will be responsible for the following core activities throughout the engagement period:

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be structured as follows:
- 30% Advance Payment: Due upon signed acceptance of this document and prior to the commencement of work.
- 40% Milestone Payment: Due upon delivery and client approval of the machine learning models (End of Week 10).
- 30% Final Payment: Due upon delivery of the final Technical Report and completion of all Knowledge Transfer sessions (End of Week 14).
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by the service provider. Invoices will be issued in accordance with Colombian tax law (DIAN regulations) and will include the applicable NIT, IVA, and withholding tax (retención en la fuente) documentation.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be subject to revision based on market conditions in Colombia, Medellín.
- The Data Scientist is engaged as an independent contractor and not as an employee of the client organization. All social security contributions (Pensión, Salud, ARL) are the responsibility of the service provider in compliance with Colombian labor law.
- All intellectual property, code, models, and documentation produced during the engagement shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full payment.
- Confidentiality and data protection obligations shall be governed by a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and shall comply with Colombia's General Data Protection Law (Ley 1581 de 2012).
- Either party may terminate the engagement with a written notice of fifteen (15) business days. In such cases, payment shall be made pro-rata for work completed up to the termination date.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed a formal Service Agreement incorporating the terms herein.
