Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be structured as follows: an initial mobilization payment of 25% upon contract execution, quarterly progress payments of 17.5% each upon verified milestone delivery, and a final settlement of 25% upon successful completion of the twelve-month engagement in DR Congo Kinshasa. All payments shall be made via international wire transfer to the account designated by Apex Analytics Consulting Ltd. in US Dollars.
5.1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for sixty (60) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and allocations are subject to revision due to market fluctuations, exchange rate volatility affecting the Congolese Franc (CDF), and changes in local operational costs in DR Congo Kinshasa.
5.2. The Data Scientist shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Democratic Republic of Congo, including but not limited to data protection statutes, labor codes, and tax obligations within the Kinshasa jurisdiction.
5.3. All intellectual property generated during the course of this engagement shall be jointly owned by the client and Apex Analytics Consulting Ltd., unless otherwise stipulated in a separate intellectual property agreement.
5.4. Either party may terminate this engagement with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, a pro-rata settlement of all incurred costs in DR Congo Kinshasa shall be applied.
5.5. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties. Acceptance shall be evidenced by signature on the designated acceptance block below.
5.6. The client acknowledges that operational conditions in DR Congo Kinshasa, including but not limited to power outages, seasonal flooding, and civil unrest, may necessitate temporary adjustments to the project timeline. Such adjustments shall be documented in writing and shall not constitute a breach of contract.
