All prices are quoted in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) and are subject to the prevailing exchange rate. This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of laboratory tests, imaging (X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan), or pharmaceuticals unless explicitly stated. Laboratory and diagnostic fees will be billed separately at the standard rates approved by the Ethiopia Addis Ababa Health Bureau.
1. Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, prices may be subject to revision based on changes in operational costs, government fee schedules, or market conditions in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
2. Payment Terms: A minimum deposit of 30% of the total Quotation Estimate amount is required to confirm the engagement of the Doctor General Practitioner. The remaining balance shall be settled within fourteen (14) days of service completion. Payment may be made via bank transfer to the designated account of MediCare Ethiopia Health Services PLC, or by certified cheque.
3. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled appointment will incur no penalty. Cancellations within 48 hours will be charged 50% of the session fee. No-shows will be charged the full session fee as outlined in this Quotation Estimate.
4. Professional Standards: The Doctor General Practitioner providing services under this Quotation Estimate is fully licensed by the Ethiopian Medical Association and registered with the Federal Ministry of Health. All services are delivered in compliance with the Ethiopian Health Professions Practice Proclamation (Proclamation No. 1181/2020) and the ethical code of conduct for medical practitioners in Ethiopia.
5. Confidentiality: All patient information, medical records, and health data collected during the course of service delivery in Ethiopia Addis Ababa shall be treated with the strictest confidentiality in accordance with Ethiopian data protection regulations and the medical ethics code.
6. Liability: MediCare Ethiopia Health Services PLC shall not be held liable for adverse outcomes resulting from pre-existing conditions that were not disclosed at the time of the initial consultation. The Doctor General Practitioner will exercise all reasonable professional judgment in the diagnosis and management of patient conditions.
7. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved amicably through negotiation. In the event of unresolved disagreement, the matter shall be referred to the Addis Ababa City Health Bureau or the appropriate judicial authority in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
8. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, epidemics, or civil unrest affecting the Ethiopia Addis Ababa region.
