4.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Economist reserves the right to revise rates due to market conditions in Chile Santiago or changes in the CLP exchange rate.
4.2 Payment Terms: Payment shall be structured as follows: 30% upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon delivery of the mid-term deliverables, and 30% upon final completion. All payments are to be made in Chilean Pesos (CLP) via bank transfer to the firm's account in Santiago, Chile, or in US Dollars (USD) via international wire transfer at the prevailing CLP/USD rate on the date of invoicing.
4.3 Tax Compliance: All fees are subject to the 19% IVA (Impuesto al Valor Agregado) as mandated by the Servicio de Impuestos Internos of Chile. A formal factura (invoice) will be issued in accordance with Chilean tax regulations for each payment milestone.

4.6 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or non-performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters (seismic activity relevant to Chile Santiago), government-mandated closures, or significant economic disruptions in the Chilean market.
4.7 Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contractual relationship shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Chile.
