1. Validity: This Quotation Estimate for The Economist services in India Mumbai is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be revised to reflect changes in exchange rates, import duties, or publisher policy adjustments.
2. Payment Terms: Payment is due within fifteen (15) days of the invoice date. Accepted modes include NEFT/RTGS, demand draft, and corporate credit card. A 2% late-payment surcharge shall apply for overdue balances exceeding the stipulated period.
3. Delivery & Access: Print editions of The Economist will be dispatched via India Post and private courier services to the designated Mumbai address. Digital access credentials will be activated within forty-eight (48) hours of confirmed payment.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy: Subscriptions may be cancelled with a minimum of thirty (30) days' written notice. Pro-rata refunds for unused digital access periods will be processed less any applicable non-refundable onboarding charges.
5. Taxation: All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees. GST at the prevailing rate of 18% is applicable as per the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and applicable Maharashtra State regulations. The client's GSTIN will be recorded on the tax invoice.
6. Intellectual Property: All content of The Economist, including articles, graphics, data visualisations, and multimedia elements, remains the exclusive intellectual property of The Economist Group. The corporate licence permits internal use only and does not grant redistribution rights.
7. Jurisdiction: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting agreement shall be governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
8. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or international logistics disruptions affecting delivery to India Mumbai.
