This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Economic Advisory Group in response to the formal request from the Kyoto Prefectural Economic Development Board for the engagement of a senior Economist to conduct comprehensive macroeconomic and microeconomic analysis for the Japan Kyoto metropolitan and surrounding prefectural region. - Policy advisory sessions (minimum four per quarter) with the Kyoto Prefectural Economic Development Board and relevant municipal stakeholders across Japan Kyoto.
- Preparation of a comprehensive annual economic outlook report for Japan Kyoto, incorporating comparative analysis with other major Japanese metropolitan areas.
- Ad hoc economic modelling and scenario analysis upon request, with a guaranteed response window of five business days.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and conditions are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in the Japan Kyoto professional services sector.
- Payment shall be made in quarterly instalments of JPY 10,120,000 (inclusive of consumption tax), due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. The first instalment is due upon contract execution.
- The Economist engaged under this arrangement shall be based primarily in the Japan Kyoto office of Meridian Economic Advisory Group located in Gion, Higashiyama-ku, and shall maintain a minimum of four (4) days per week of on-site presence at the Kyoto Prefectural Economic Development Board premises.
- All intellectual property, reports, models, and analytical outputs produced by the Economist in the course of this engagement shall become the sole property of the Kyoto Prefectural Economic Development Board upon full payment of the amounts specified in this Quotation Estimate.
- Confidentiality obligations shall survive the termination of this engagement for a period of five (5) years. The Economist shall not disclose any proprietary economic data, internal forecasts, or strategic plans pertaining to Japan Kyoto to any third party without written consent.
- Either party may terminate this engagement with sixty (60) days written notice. In the event of early termination, all services rendered up to the termination date shall be invoiced in accordance with the rates set forth in this Quotation Estimate.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. The final service agreement shall be executed in accordance with Japanese commercial law and the specific regulations governing public-sector advisory engagements in the Japan Kyoto region.
- Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent service agreement shall be resolved through mediation in Kyoto, Japan, in accordance with the rules of the Kyoto Arbitration Centre.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms, conditions, and cost estimates set forth in this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of the Economist in service of the Japan Kyoto regional economic development objectives.
