- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing economic conditions in South Africa Johannesburg.
- The Economist engaged under this agreement shall maintain full professional confidentiality regarding all client data, proprietary models, and strategic information shared during the engagement.
- All deliverables, including forecasts, reports, and presentations, shall be produced in English and formatted in accordance with South African statistical reporting standards as set by Statistics South Africa (Stats SA).
- Payment terms: 50% of the monthly retainer is due on the 1st of each month, and 50% on the 15th. Project-based fees (Items 02–05) are payable within fourteen (14) days of delivery and client sign-off.
- Any additional hours beyond the 60-hour monthly retainer will be billed at R3,500.00 per hour, subject to prior written approval by the client.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until signed and countersigned by both parties. A formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) will be executed upon acceptance.
- All services are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Johannesburg, in accordance with the Arbitration Act 42 of 1965.
- The Economist reserves the right to decline engagement if the scope of work requires analysis that conflicts with professional ethical standards as defined by the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) or the South African Economic Association.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to load-shedding disruptions affecting office operations in South Africa Johannesburg, shall not be considered a breach of contract. Affected timelines will be extended proportionally.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of the Economist as described herein. The client confirms that all terms, conditions, and cost structures outlined in this document for services to be rendered in South Africa Johannesburg are understood and agreed upon.
