This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Editorial Solutions Ltda. to provide a comprehensive, itemised cost breakdown for the engagement of a professional Editor to deliver editorial, linguistic, and structural services for content projects to be executed in Brazil, São Paulo. The Editor will operate out of our São Paulo office on Av. Paulista and will be available for on-site collaboration, remote editing, and hybrid workflows as required by the client's operational needs within the São Paulo metropolitan area.
The Editor services covered under this Quotation Estimate include, but are not limited to: copyediting, substantive editing, proofreading, style-guide compliance (ABNT and APA), multilingual adaptation (Portuguese–English), content restructuring, and final quality assurance. All deliverables will be produced in accordance with the editorial standards expected by publishers, corporate communications teams, and academic institutions operating in Brazil São Paulo.

- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be revised to reflect market conditions in Brazil São Paulo.
- Payment Terms: 40% advance upon contract signature; 40% upon delivery of the third project milestone; 20% upon final acceptance of all deliverables. Payments shall be made via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the account of Meridian Editorial Solutions Ltda., São Paulo – SP, Brazil.
- Editor Availability: The assigned Editor shall be available Monday through Friday, 08:00–18:00 BRT (Brasília Time), with optional Saturday support at 1.5× the hourly rate. On-site visits within the São Paulo metropolitan area are included; travel to other Brazilian states will be quoted separately.
- Revisions: Each project includes two (2) rounds of revisions at no additional cost. Additional revision cycles will be billed at R$ 120.00 per hour of Editor time.
- Confidentiality: The Editor and all editorial staff shall sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to accessing any client material. All data shall be processed in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD – Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Law No. 13,709/2018).
- Intellectual Property: Upon full payment, all edited and finalised content shall become the exclusive property of the client. The Editor retains no rights to reproduce, distribute, or publish client materials without written consent.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated closures in São Paulo, or systemic IT failures.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of the city of São Paulo, State of São Paulo.
- This Quotation Estimate assumes that source materials will be provided in digital format (Microsoft Word, PDF, or InDesign) no later than five (5) business days before the scheduled editing start date.
- Translation services beyond the Portuguese–English pair specified in Line Item 03 are excluded and will be subject to a separate Quotation Estimate.
- Graphic design, typesetting, and print production are outside the scope of the Editor engagement described herein.
- On-site travel outside the city of São Paulo (e.g., Campinas, Santos, Ribeirão Preto) will incur additional transportation and per-diem charges, to be agreed in writing.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for Editor services in Brazil São Paulo and authorises Meridian Editorial Solutions Ltda. to proceed with the engagement as described. This signature constitutes a binding acceptance of all terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this document.
