- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, the Editor's availability and the rates presented herein may be subject to revision.
- Payment Terms: A 40% deposit is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to secure the Editor's schedule. The remaining 60% is payable within fourteen (14) business days of final delivery of all editorial deliverables. Payments are to be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD) via EFT, cheque, or approved credit card to our Canada Toronto office.
- Revisions: The Quotation Estimate includes one (1) round of revisions per editing phase. Additional revision rounds will be billed at the Editor's standard hourly rate of $120.00 CAD per hour.
- Confidentiality: The Editor and all supporting editorial staff are bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). All manuscripts, drafts, and project materials remain the exclusive property of the client. No materials will be stored on servers outside of Canada Toronto without prior written consent.
- Intellectual Property: Upon full payment, all editorial deliverables, including the style guide and glossary, become the sole property of the client. The Editor retains no rights to reproduce, distribute, or publish any portion of the edited work.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or systemic IT failures affecting our Canada Toronto operations.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
