Scope of Editor Services

Payment Terms

This Quotation Estimate is subject to the following payment schedule, which is standard for Editor engagements in Uganda Kampala:

• 30% Advance Payment: Due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and signing of the service agreement. This secures the allocation of our dedicated Editor team for your project.
• 40% Mid-Project Payment: Due at the completion of the second month of service delivery.
• 30% Final Payment: Due upon successful completion of all deliverables and client sign-off at the end of the three-month engagement period.

All payments shall be made in Uganda Shillings (UGX) via bank transfer to our account at Stanbic Bank Uganda, Kampala Branch, or by certified cheque. Payment is due within fourteen (14) calendar days of invoice issuance. Late payments shall attract a penalty of 2% per month as per Ugandan commercial law.

Terms and Conditions

1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to market conditions in Uganda Kampala.
2. All Editor services will be performed in strict confidence. A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be executed prior to the commencement of work.
3. The Editor team will operate from our office at Plot 14, Kampala Road, Kampala, Uganda, with remote access available for the client's convenience.
4. Any additional editorial work beyond the scope defined in this Quotation Estimate will be billed separately at the rates specified in our standard rate card.
5. Revisions are limited to two (2) rounds per document. Additional revision cycles will be charged at 50% of the original editing rate.
6. This Quotation Estimate does not include printing, typesetting, or graphic design services. These may be quoted separately upon request.
7. Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Kampala, Uganda, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Uganda.
8. Our Editor team reserves the right to decline any content that violates Ugandan law, public order, or professional editorial ethics.
