Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made according to the following schedule: 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the service agreement; 40% upon completion of the design and engineering phase; and the remaining 30% upon successful commissioning, handover of all documentation, and issuance of the Belgian electrical conformity certificate. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Brussels Electrical Engineering Consultants S.A. in Belgium Brussels. Invoices are payable within 30 calendar days of the date of issue in accordance with Belgian commercial law.
5.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, prices may be subject to revision due to changes in material costs, labour rates, or regulatory requirements in Belgium Brussels.
5.2 The Electrical Engineer assigned to this project holds a recognised engineering degree and is registered with the Belgian Order of Engineers (Ordre des Ingénieurs-Conseils). All work shall be performed in strict accordance with professional engineering ethics and Belgian statutory requirements.
5.3 Any changes to the scope of work requested by the client after the acceptance of this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate and a written change order signed by both parties.
5.4 The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary building permits, occupancy authorisations, and third-party approvals from the Brussels-Capital Region authorities prior to the commencement of on-site work.
5.5 This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties. The terms herein are governed by the laws of Belgium, and any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Belgium Brussels.
5.6 The Electrical Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 1,000,000 per claim, as required for engineering services in Belgium Brussels.
