2. Project Description

This Quotation Estimate is issued by KL Electrical Engineering Solutions Sdn. Bhd. to provide comprehensive Electrical Engineer consultancy and design services for the renovation and upgrade of the existing electrical infrastructure at the client's commercial premises located at Lot 45, Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50250 Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. The scope encompasses a full audit of the current electrical systems, redesign of the distribution network, installation of a new 1,600 kVA transformer system, and compliance verification in accordance with the Electricity Regulations 1994 and the Malaysian Standard MS IEC 60364 series as enforced by the Energy Commission of Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.

4. Terms and Conditions

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Electrical Engineer firm reserves the right to revise pricing due to material cost fluctuations or changes in regulatory requirements in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
Payment shall be made in three (3) instalments: 40% upon signing of the engagement letter, 40% upon completion of the design and approval phase, and 20% upon final commissioning and handover of all documentation.
All payments are due within fourteen (14) days from the date of invoice. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 2% per month as stipulated under the Malaysian Contracts Act 1950.
The Electrical Engineer services described in this quotation are subject to the availability of the lead engineer, Ir. Ahmad bin Razali, and the project team. Any delay caused by the client or third-party authorities (TNB, local council, Energy Commission) in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur shall extend the project timeline accordingly without additional cost to the client.
All design work shall comply with the Electricity Regulations 1994, the Building Act 1984, and the relevant Malaysian Standards. The Electrical Engineer firm shall ensure that all installations meet the safety and performance benchmarks required by the Energy Commission of Malaysia for commercial premises in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of physical materials, transformers, switchgear, cabling, or labour for installation. These shall be procured separately by the client or through a separate works contract. The Electrical Engineer firm may, upon request, provide a separate bill of quantities for materials at no additional consultancy fee.
Any variation or change in scope beyond what is described in this document shall be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate and mutual written agreement before work proceeds.
Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through mediation in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur in accordance with the Mediation Act 2012, and failing that, through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Malaysia.
The Electrical Engineer firm shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of RM 2,000,000 throughout the duration of the project.

5. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Electrical Engineer services to be carried out in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur under the terms and conditions stated herein.
