This Quotation Estimate is issued by Cape Town Electrical Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd, a registered Electrical Engineer practice operating in South Africa Cape Town, in response to the client's request for comprehensive electrical engineering design, inspection, and compliance services. The scope of work outlined below covers all professional services to be rendered by our qualified Electrical Engineer team at the client's commercial property located in the Gardens district of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.
Our Electrical Engineer, registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) under Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) designation, will oversee all aspects of the electrical infrastructure upgrade, load calculations, compliance with the South African National Standard SANS 10142-1, and coordination with the local Cape Town City Council electrical inspection authority.

All amounts are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR). VAT is applied at the current South African rate of 15%. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue.
3. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate- This Quotation Estimate is issued by Cape Town Electrical Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd and is valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After this period, the Electrical Engineer reserves the right to revise pricing due to material cost fluctuations in South Africa.
- Payment terms: 50% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 30% upon completion of the design and submission to Cape Town City Council, and the remaining 20% upon final sign-off and issuance of the Certificate of Compliance.
- All payments are to be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the company's registered bank account in South Africa. Invoices will be issued in accordance with South African tax legislation.
- The Electrical Engineer shall not be held liable for delays caused by third-party authorities, including but not limited to Cape Town City Council approval processes, Eskom connection timelines, or municipal inspection scheduling.
- All work performed by the Electrical Engineer shall comply with the South African National Standards (SANS), the National Building Regulations, and the Electrical Installation Regulations of South Africa.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of materials, labour for installation, or any municipal fees levied by Cape Town City Council. These costs will be quoted separately upon request.
- The client acknowledges that the Electrical Engineer's professional services are governed by the ECSA Code of Conduct and the Professional Engineers Act 46 of 1974 of South Africa.
- Any variation to the scope of work outlined in this Quotation Estimate must be agreed upon in writing by both parties before additional work is commenced. A supplementary Quotation Estimate will be issued for any such variations.
- This Quotation Estimate is subject to the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cape Town, Western Cape.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for the Electrical Engineer services described herein. The client confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions set out in this document. The Electrical Engineer shall commence work upon receipt of the 50% deposit and written confirmation from the client.
