1. Scope of Work – Electrical Engineer Services in South Africa JohannesburgThis Quotation Estimate is issued by Transvaal Electrical Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd to provide comprehensive Electrical Engineer professional services within the South Africa Johannesburg metropolitan area. The scope of work encompasses the full lifecycle of electrical engineering consultancy, design, compliance verification, and project management as required by the client. All services shall be performed in accordance with the South African National Standards (SANS 10142, SANS 10143, SANS 10144), the Electricity Regulation Act 40 of 2006, and the relevant by-laws of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality.
The Electrical Engineer assigned to this project holds a BEng (Electrical) degree, is a registered Professional Engineer (PrEng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), and possesses a minimum of twelve (12) years of practical experience in commercial, industrial, and residential electrical installations across the South Africa Johannesburg region. The engineer is further registered with the Department of Energy as a Competent Person for the purpose of issuing certificates of compliance.

4. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Thereafter, pricing may be subject to revision due to market fluctuations in material costs within South Africa.
- All services described herein shall be performed by a qualified and registered Electrical Engineer in compliance with the Engineering and Occupational Health and Safety Act 27 of 1990 and the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993.
- Payment terms: 40% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of design and submission of drawings, and 20% upon final handover and issuance of the Certificate of Compliance.
- All work shall be carried out within the South Africa Johannesburg metropolitan area. Any work required outside this area (e.g., Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town) shall be quoted separately.
- The client shall provide safe access to all relevant areas of the premises, existing electrical documentation, and any municipal approvals already obtained.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of electrical materials, cables, switchgear, or labour for installation. These shall be procured separately by the client or a nominated contractor.
- All intellectual property in design documents, reports, and calculations prepared by the Electrical Engineer shall remain the property of Transvaal Electrical Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd until full payment is received.
- Any variation to the scope of work must be agreed in writing by both parties before additional work commences. A supplementary Quotation Estimate shall be issued for any such variation.
- This Quotation Estimate is subject to the standard terms and conditions of Transvaal Electrical Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd, which are available upon request.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
