All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). VAT is charged at the current United Kingdom standard rate of 20%. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue.
- This Quotation Estimate constitutes a firm offer for the provision of Electrical Engineer consultancy services as described herein. Acceptance of this quotation shall be deemed to form a binding contract between Whitfield Electrical Engineering Consultancy Ltd and the client, governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- All work shall be carried out in strict compliance with the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Domain (ESSPD) and all relevant statutory requirements applicable to electrical installations in the United Kingdom London area, including those enforced by UK Power Networks as the Distribution Network Operator for the relevant zone.
- Payment terms: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of the design phase and submission to Building Control, and the remaining 30% upon final sign-off and handover of all documentation. All invoices are payable within fourteen (14) days of issue.
- The Electrical Engineer shall carry a minimum of £5,000,000 in professional indemnity insurance and £10,000,000 in public liability insurance throughout the duration of the engagement. Certificates of insurance shall be provided upon request.
- Any variations to the scope of work outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a written variation order signed by both parties. No additional work shall commence without prior written authorisation.
- All design documentation, calculations, and reports produced under this engagement shall remain the intellectual property of Whitfield Electrical Engineering Consultancy Ltd until full payment has been received.
