1. Validity: This Quotation Estimate shall remain valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all rates and availability of the assigned Electrical Engineer team are subject to re-evaluation.
2. Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in four installments: 25% upon execution of the professional services agreement, 35% upon completion of design drawings and permit approval, 25% upon completion of construction-phase oversight, and 15% upon delivery of final as-built documentation and commissioning sign-off.
3. Scope Limitations: This Quotation Estimate covers only the electrical engineering services as itemized above. Structural, mechanical, plumbing, and civil engineering services are excluded. Any additional scope requested by the client beyond the defined deliverables will be billed at the Electrical Engineer hourly rate of $285.00 per hour, subject to a minimum two-hour charge.
4. Jurisdictional Compliance: All design work shall comply with the current edition of the California Electrical Code, the 2023 NEC, San Francisco Municipal Code Chapter 13 (Building), and all PG&E interconnection requirements applicable to the United States San Francisco service territory.
5. Insurance and Liability: Precision Electrical Engineering Group maintains professional liability insurance of $5,000,000 per occurrence and $10,000,000 aggregate. The Electrical Engineer shall not be held liable for delays caused by third-party contractors, utility providers, or municipal review processes beyond the firm's reasonable control.
6. Intellectual Property: All design documents, calculations, and engineering deliverables produced under this Quotation Estimate shall become the property of the client upon full payment. The Electrical Engineer retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios and case studies with prior written consent.
7. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in San Francisco, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Governing law shall be that of the State of California.
8. Cancellation: Either party may terminate this agreement with fourteen (14) days written notice. In the event of client-initiated cancellation, all work completed to date shall be invoiced at the rates specified in this Quotation Estimate.
