Important Note: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) applicable in the Province of Ontario. Any additional work requested by the client beyond the scope described herein will be subject to a separate written Quotation Estimate prior to commencement.
  1. Payment Schedule: A 30% deposit ($6,893.57) is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to secure the Electrician crew and order materials. A 50% progress payment ($11,489.28) is due upon completion of the panel replacement and circuit work (Items 1–6). The remaining 20% ($4,595.70) is due upon final inspection sign-off by the Toronto Building Division.
  2. Warranty: All workmanship is guaranteed for a period of two (2) years from the date of final completion. All manufacturer warranties on components (panel, breakers, lighting, surge protector) are passed through to the client and are in addition to the workmanship warranty.
  3. Permits & Compliance: Maple & Volt Electrical Services Inc. is responsible for obtaining all necessary electrical permits from the City of Toronto and for scheduling ESA (Electrical Safety Authority) inspections. The client agrees to provide full access to the unit and to notify the condominium corporation of the planned electrical work at least five (5) business days in advance, as required by Toronto condominium bylaws.
  4. Access & Scheduling: Work will be performed Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding statutory holidays observed in the Province of Ontario. The estimated total project duration is ten (10) business days from the date of permit issuance.
  5. Insurance & Liability: The Electrician contractor carries $5,000,000 in commercial general liability insurance and $1,000,000 in professional liability insurance, with the client named as an additional insured. Workers' compensation coverage is maintained through the WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) of Ontario.
  6. Change Orders: Any modifications to the scope of work must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties. No additional work will be performed without a revised Quotation Estimate reflecting updated pricing.
  7. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in accordance with the Ontario Construction Act. If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be referred to the Small Claims Court of Ontario, Toronto region.
  8. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather conditions common to Canada Toronto, supply chain disruptions, or government-mandated work stoppages.
