This Quotation Estimate is issued by CircuitCore Engineering Solutions Ltd., a registered professional firm operating in Kenya Nairobi, to provide a comprehensive and transparent breakdown of costs associated with the engagement of a senior Electronics Engineer for the design, implementation, and commissioning of an industrial automation system at the client's manufacturing facility located in the Athi River industrial corridor, Kenya Nairobi region. This document serves as a formal Quotation Estimate and does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed the final service agreement.
The following scope of work has been defined in consultation with the client's operations team. All services will be delivered by a certified Electronics Engineer with a minimum of twelve (12) years of professional experience in industrial electronics, embedded systems, and PLC-based automation. The Electronics Engineer will be based in Kenya Nairobi and will travel to the client's site as required.
- Site Survey and Feasibility Assessment: The Electronics Engineer will conduct a full on-site assessment of the existing electrical infrastructure, control panels, and sensor networks at the client's facility in Kenya Nairobi. A detailed feasibility report will be delivered within five (5) working days of the site visit.
- System Design and Schematic Development: Preparation of complete electronic schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, and control logic architecture for the new automation system. All designs will comply with the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) electrical regulations and IEC 61439 standards.
- Component Procurement and Quality Assurance: The Electronics Engineer will source all electronic components, microcontrollers, relays, sensors, and actuators from approved suppliers in Kenya Nairobi and the broader East African market. A component specification sheet will accompany each procurement batch.
- Installation and Wiring: Physical installation of all electronic hardware, including PLC cabinets, HMI panels, motor drives, and field instrumentation. All wiring will be performed in accordance with the Kenya Electricity Act and local building codes applicable in Kenya Nairobi.
- Programming and Configuration: Development and loading of PLC ladder logic, SCADA interface programming, and embedded firmware for custom sensor nodes. The Electronics Engineer will ensure full interoperability with the client's existing ERP system.

- 30% Advance Payment (KES 1,620,000): Due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and signing of the service agreement. This payment initiates the design phase and component procurement.
- 40% Progress Payment (KES 2,160,000): Due upon completion of installation and wiring, confirmed by a joint site inspection between the client and the Electronics Engineer team.
- 20% Commissioning Payment (KES 1,080,000): Due upon successful completion of all testing, commissioning, and the operator training session.
- 10% Retention (KES 540,000): Released thirty (30) days after the end of the 90-day post-commissioning support period, subject to satisfactory performance.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be revised to reflect changes in component costs, exchange rates, or prevailing market conditions in Kenya Nairobi.
- All work performed by the Electronics Engineer will adhere to the Kenya Engineering Council (KEC) code of professional conduct and all applicable national and local regulations in Kenya Nairobi.
- The client agrees to provide safe access to the work site, necessary utilities (power, compressed air), and a dedicated point of contact for day-to-day coordination.
- Any changes to the scope of work beyond the parameters outlined in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a supplementary estimate and written approval from both parties before additional work commences.
- CircuitCore Engineering Solutions Ltd. shall not be liable for delays caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or supply chain disruptions beyond the Electronics Engineer's reasonable control.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent service agreement shall be resolved through mediation in Kenya Nairobi, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Kenya. If mediation fails, the matter shall be referred to the High Court of Kenya, Nairobi.
- All intellectual property, including schematics, firmware, and design documentation produced by the Electronics Engineer, shall become the property of the client upon full payment of all amounts due under this Quotation Estimate.
