This Quotation Estimate is issued by GreenSolutions Engineering GmbH to Berliner Stadtwerke AG for the provision of specialized Environmental Engineer services to be executed within the metropolitan area of Germany Berlin. The purpose of this document is to outline the scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and associated costs for the environmental assessment and remediation project located in the Spree River industrial corridor, Berlin-Mitte district. This Quotation Estimate constitutes a binding offer for the period specified above and is subject to the terms and conditions detailed herein.
The Environmental Engineer team assigned to this project will deliver the following services in compliance with German federal environmental regulations (BImSchG, WHG, BBodSchV) and the specific municipal bylaws applicable in Germany Berlin:
- Phase I Environmental Site Assessment: Comprehensive desk study, historical land-use analysis, and regulatory database review for the 12-hectare industrial parcel in Berlin-Mitte, including identification of potential contamination pathways relevant to the Spree River watershed.
- Phase II Soil and Groundwater Investigation: Borehole drilling (minimum 24 locations), soil sampling at depths of 0–15 meters, groundwater monitoring well installation, and laboratory analysis for heavy metals, PAHs, VOCs, and petroleum hydrocarbons in accordance with DIN EN ISO 18400 and DIN 38402 standards.
- Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA): Preparation of a full EIA report as required under the German Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) for the proposed redevelopment of the site, including air quality modeling, noise impact analysis, biodiversity survey, and cumulative effects assessment specific to the Germany Berlin urban context.

The Environmental Engineer engagement is anticipated to span a total duration of 14 calendar months from the date of contract award. The Phase I assessment will be completed within the first 6 weeks. Phase II fieldwork and laboratory analysis will follow over a 12-week period. The EIA report preparation and regulatory review phase is estimated at 6 months, with the remediation concept and final deliverables to be submitted within the remaining 4 months. All milestones are subject to the approval timelines of the relevant Germany Berlin authorities.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, all rates and conditions must be renegotiated.
- Payment terms: 30% advance payment upon contract signing, 40% upon completion of Phase II investigation, and 30% upon delivery of the final EIA report and remediation concept. Invoices are payable within 14 days of receipt.
- All work shall be performed in strict compliance with German environmental legislation, including the Federal-Immission-Control Act (BImSchG), the Federal Soil and Contaminated Sites Ordinance (BBodSchV), and the Berlin-specific environmental regulations applicable in Germany Berlin.
- The Environmental Engineer team shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 5,000,000 per claim throughout the project duration.

- Confidentiality: All data, reports, and findings generated under this engagement are the exclusive property of the client. The Environmental Engineer team agrees to a non-disclosure obligation extending 5 years beyond project completion.
- Dispute resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through mediation in Berlin, Germany, in accordance with the rules of the Berlin Arbitration Institute. The governing law is the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to extreme weather conditions affecting fieldwork in Germany Berlin, shall extend the project timeline on a day-for-day basis without penalty to either party.
