We are pleased to submit this Quotation Estimate for the professional services of a qualified Environmental Engineer to be deployed and utilized within the Nepal Kathmandu metropolitan area. This Quotation Estimate has been prepared in accordance with the standards set forth by the Department of Environment (DoE), Government of Nepal, and complies with all applicable regulations under the Environment Protection Act, 2076 (2019) and the Environment Protection Rules, 2077 (2020).
Scope of Work – Environmental Engineer Services in Nepal KathmanduThe following Quotation Estimate covers the comprehensive engagement of a senior Environmental Engineer to perform environmental impact assessments, pollution monitoring, and regulatory compliance audits for industrial and commercial facilities located in and around Nepal Kathmandu. The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for conducting site inspections, preparing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports, managing waste treatment systems, and ensuring full compliance with the DoE's Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) requirements specific to the Nepal Kathmandu jurisdiction.

Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates may be subject to revision based on market conditions in Nepal Kathmandu.
- The Environmental Engineer assigned to this project shall hold a valid license issued by the Nepal Engineering Council and a minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience in environmental consulting within the Nepal Kathmandu region.
- Payment terms: 30% advance upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of fieldwork and data collection, and 30% upon final report submission and DoE approval in Nepal Kathmandu.
- All work shall be conducted in strict compliance with the Environment Protection Act, 2076, the Environment Protection Rules, 2077, and the Kathmandu Valley Development Authority (KVDA) bylaws applicable to Nepal Kathmandu.
- The Environmental Engineer shall submit weekly progress reports to the client and a comprehensive final report in both Nepali and English languages.
- Any additional scope beyond what is described in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional cost approval.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include government fees, permit charges, or third-party laboratory accreditation costs, which shall be borne by the client.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 2055 (1999) of Nepal, with the seat of arbitration in Nepal Kathmandu.
- The Environmental Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than NPR 5,000,000 for the duration of the project.
- All data and reports generated under this Quotation Estimate shall remain the intellectual property of the client upon full payment.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for the services of the Environmental Engineer as described herein, to be executed in Nepal Kathmandu under the terms and conditions stated above.
