This Quotation Estimate is issued by GreenSolutions Environmental Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd. to provide a comprehensive, itemized cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Environmental Engineer to deliver environmental impact assessment, compliance auditing, and sustainability consulting services for the Coastal Development Project located in Pakistan Karachi. This document serves as a formal commercial proposal and is intended to be used by the client for internal budgeting, procurement approval, and vendor comparison purposes.
The scope of work outlined herein has been specifically tailored to address the unique environmental challenges present in the Pakistan Karachi metropolitan region, including coastal water quality monitoring, industrial effluent management, air quality assessment in densely populated zones, and solid waste characterization for the Korangi Industrial Area.
- Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA): Full preparation of the EIA report in compliance with the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (PEPA) regulations and Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) guidelines for the proposed coastal development in Pakistan Karachi.
- Air Quality Monitoring: Deployment of continuous monitoring stations for PM2.5, PM10, SO₂, NOₓ, and CO across a minimum of six (6) locations in the Clifton and DHA sectors of Pakistan Karachi over a 90-day period.
- Water and Effluent Analysis: Quarterly sampling and laboratory analysis of industrial effluents from 15 designated factories in the Korangi Industrial Zone, including parameters for BOD, COD, TSS, heavy metals, and pH levels.
- Soil Contamination Survey: Geotechnical and geochemical sampling of 40 borehole locations to assess legacy contamination from prior industrial activities in the Pakistan Karachi industrial corridor.
- Waste Management Audit: Comprehensive audit of solid and hazardous waste generation, segregation, storage, and disposal practices at the client's project site, with recommendations aligned with SEPA waste management directives.
- Compliance Reporting: Preparation of monthly and quarterly compliance reports for submission to SEPA and the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB), ensuring full regulatory adherence for operations in Pakistan Karachi.
- Stakeholder Consultation: Facilitation of at least three (3) public consultation meetings with local communities, municipal authorities, and relevant government bodies in Pakistan Karachi to address environmental concerns and gather feedback.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates may be revised to reflect changes in material costs, labor rates, or regulatory requirements in Pakistan Karachi.
- Payment terms: 30% advance upon signing of the service agreement, 40% upon completion of the EIA report and air quality monitoring phase, and 30% upon final delivery of all reports and compliance documentation.
- The Environmental Engineer assigned to this project shall hold a valid Professional Engineering (PE) license issued by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than PKR 50,000,000.
- All environmental data collected in Pakistan Karachi shall be the exclusive property of the client. The service provider shall not disclose, publish, or share any project-specific data with third parties without written consent.
- Any change in scope, additional monitoring locations, or extended project duration shall be subject to a revised Quotation Estimate issued in writing by the service provider and approved by the client before work commences.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940 of Pakistan.
- The service provider shall comply with all applicable environmental laws, including the Environmental Protection Act 1997, the Sindh Environmental Protection Rules, and any directives issued by SEPA for the Pakistan Karachi region.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of the Environmental Engineer and associated services in Pakistan Karachi.
