1. Introduction and Purpose of This Quotation EstimateThis Quotation Estimate is formally issued by GreenScape Environmental Consulting (Pty) Ltd to Atlantic Coastal Development Group in respect of professional Environmental Engineer services required for the proposed mixed-use coastal development project situated in the Southern Suburbs of South Africa Cape Town. This document outlines the full scope of work, itemised costs, payment schedule, and contractual terms governing the engagement. The Quotation Estimate has been prepared in full compliance with the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA) 107 of 1998, the Western Cape Provincial Environmental Management Regulations, and the relevant by-laws of the City of Cape Town. 2. Scope of Environmental Engineer ServicesThe Environmental Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall deliver the following professional services for the client's development project in South Africa Cape Town:
- Preparation of a comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report in accordance with NEMA and the City of Cape Town's Integrated Development Plan (IDP).
- Baseline environmental surveys including water quality sampling of the False Bay estuarine systems, soil contamination profiling, and biodiversity mapping of indigenous fynbos vegetation.
- Design of stormwater management infrastructure and erosion control measures compliant with the Western Cape Department of Environmental Affairs standards.
- Development of an Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and a Construction Phase Environmental Management Plan (CPEMP) for the duration of the build.
- Coordination with the City of Cape Town's Environmental Health and Planning departments for all necessary environmental permits and Section 24/21 authorisations.
- Post-construction environmental monitoring for a period of twelve (12) months, including quarterly reporting to the client and relevant regulatory authorities in South Africa Cape Town.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in the following instalments, all payable within fourteen (14) calendar days of invoice date:
- 30% deposit (R 337,237.50 incl. VAT) upon signing of the service agreement and acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
- 40% progress payment (R 449,650.00 incl. VAT) upon submission of the EIA report and EMP documents to the City of Cape Town.
- 30% final payment (R 337,237.50 incl. VAT) upon completion of the twelve-month post-construction monitoring period and delivery of the final environmental compliance certificate.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Thereafter, pricing may be subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in South Africa Cape Town.
- All services shall be performed by a registered Environmental Engineer holding a valid South African Council for the Engineering and Related Occupations (SACE) registration and a NQF Level 8 qualification in Environmental Engineering.
- The Environmental Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than R 5,000,000.00 for the duration of the engagement.
- All work shall comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993, NEMA, and the applicable municipal by-laws of the City of Cape Town.
- Any variation to the scope of work must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to commencement. Additional costs arising from scope changes will be itemised in a supplementary Quotation Estimate.
- Confidentiality: All data, reports, and site information obtained during the engagement in South Africa Cape Town shall remain the exclusive property of the client and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Cape Town, Western Cape, in accordance with the Arbitration Act 42 of 1965.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and the deposit has been received.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing set out herein for the engagement of the Environmental Engineer for the project located in South Africa Cape Town.
