1. Introduction and Scope of Work
This Quotation Estimate is issued by GreenScape Environmental Consulting (Pty) Ltd in response to the client's request for comprehensive Environmental Engineer services within the Johannesburg metropolitan area, South Africa. Our firm specialises in providing expert environmental compliance, impact assessment, and remediation services tailored to the regulatory framework of the Gauteng Department of Environmental Affairs and the broader South African legislative environment.
The scope of work outlined in this Quotation Estimate covers the full lifecycle of environmental engineering support, including but not limited to: Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) in accordance with the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA) 107 of 1998, water and air quality monitoring, soil contamination investigations, waste management planning, and environmental compliance audits. All services will be delivered by a qualified Environmental Engineer registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and the Environmental Control Practitioners Association (ECPA).

3. Payment Terms and Conditions
This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Payment shall be structured as follows: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of the EIA submission and baseline surveys, and the remaining 30% upon delivery of the final compliance certification. All payments are due within fourteen (14) days of invoice date. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate prescribed by the National Credit Act, South Africa.
All rates quoted in this Quotation Estimate are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of all travel within the Johannesburg metropolitan area. Travel to sites outside the City of Johannesburg municipal boundary will be billed at R18.50 per kilometre, in addition to overnight accommodation at actual cost where applicable.
4. Assumptions and Exclusions
This Quotation Estimate assumes that the client will provide timely access to the site, all existing environmental documentation, and necessary permits. The following items are excluded from this estimate: remediation or abatement works (to be quoted separately upon investigation findings), legal representation in environmental court proceedings, and any third-party laboratory costs exceeding the standard 12-parameter water analysis. Should additional Environmental Engineer services be required beyond the scope defined herein, a supplementary Quotation Estimate will be issued prior to commencement of such additional work.
Important Note: All Environmental Engineer services described in this Quotation Estimate will be conducted in full compliance with the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA), the National Water Act, the Waste Act, and all applicable City of Johannesburg by-laws. Our Environmental Engineer is fully registered and insured, and all work performed in South Africa Johannesburg will adhere to the highest professional and ethical standards as set by ECSA and ECPA.5.
