Payment for the services described in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three installments: 30% upon signing of the professional services contract, 40% upon delivery and approval of the Environmental Impact Assessment report by the Madrid regional authority, and the remaining 30% upon completion of the first quarter of the environmental monitoring plan. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of VerdeTerra Environmental Consulting S.L. in Madrid, Spain. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established by the Spanish Law on Late Payment in Commercial Transactions (Ley 3/2004).
General Conditions Governing This Quotation Estimate
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, prices and availability of the Environmental Engineer may be subject to revision.
- All professional services shall be performed by a duly registered Environmental Engineer holding a valid license from the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Minas de Madrid and in compliance with the Spanish Professional Regulation Law (Ley 2/1974).
- The Environmental Engineer shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of €1,000,000, as required for environmental consulting practice in Spain Madrid.
- Any additional services not explicitly included in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional fee, to be agreed upon by both parties prior to commencement.
- All deliverables, reports, and documentation produced under this engagement shall be prepared in Spanish for submission to the Madrid regional and municipal authorities, with an English executive summary provided to the client upon request.
- The Environmental Engineer shall comply with all data protection obligations under the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding any personal data processed during the project.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent contract shall be resolved by the competent courts of Madrid, Spain, in accordance with Spanish civil and commercial law.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed a formal professional services agreement incorporating these terms.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes VerdeTerra Environmental Consulting S.L. to proceed with the engagement of the designated Environmental Engineer for the project in Spain Madrid under the terms and conditions set forth herein.
