The following items are excluded from this Quotation Estimate and will be billed separately if required:
- Travel and accommodation expenses for the Environmental Engineer if site visits extend beyond the Tashkent metropolitan area within Uzbekistan.
- Third-party laboratory testing fees for specialized water and soil analysis conducted at accredited Uzbekistan national laboratories.
- Government permit processing fees payable directly to the Tashkent City Environmental Protection Committee or the Ministry of Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- Translation services for documents requiring submission in both Uzbek and Russian languages, as mandated by local regulatory authorities in Uzbekistan Tashkent.
5.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for sixty (60) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and terms are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Uzbekistan.
5.2 Payment terms: 30% advance payment upon contract signing, 40% upon completion of the EIA report and regulatory submissions, and 30% upon final acceptance of all deliverables by the client in Tashkent.
5.3 The Environmental Engineer shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the Environmental Code, the Water Code, and all Tashkent municipal bylaws governing environmental protection and industrial operations.
5.4 All work products, reports, and data generated under this engagement shall remain the intellectual property of the client upon full payment. The Environmental Engineer retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios with prior written consent.
5.5 Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated shutdowns, or changes in Uzbekistan Tashkent environmental regulations, shall extend the project timeline proportionally without penalty to either party.
5.6 Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through arbitration in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in accordance with the rules of the Tashkent International Arbitration Center.
Note: This Quotation Estimate is prepared specifically for the Environmental Engineer services required for the Chilonzor District water treatment facility expansion in Uzbekistan Tashkent. It does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties. All rates are exclusive of VAT (12%) as applicable under Uzbekistan tax law.
