Scope of Services – Film Director Engagement

Payment Terms

This Quotation Estimate is structured with the following payment milestones, all payable by bank transfer (virement) to the account of Lumière Productions SARL, BNP Paribas, IBAN: FR76 3000 4000 0312 3456 7890 123:

Milestone 1 (30%): €106,530.00 – Due upon signature of the production contract and confirmation of the Film Director engagement.

Milestone 2 (40%): €142,040.00 – Due at the commencement of principal photography in France Paris.

Milestone 3 (30%): €106,530.00 – Due upon delivery of the final cut and completion of post-production supervision.

All amounts are quoted in Euros (EUR) and include applicable French Value Added Tax (TVA) at the standard rate of 20%. Late payments will incur interest at the rate prescribed by Article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code.

Terms and Conditions

1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and availability of the proposed Film Director are subject to reconfirmation.

2. The Film Director named in this estimate is currently confirmed as available for the proposed production window. Should the client require a change in schedule exceeding five (5) business days, a revised Quotation Estimate will be issued at no additional cost.

3. All work will be performed in compliance with the French Labor Code, the French Copyright Act (Code de la Propriété Intellectuelle), and the specific provisions of the Convention Collective Nationale du Cinéma. The Film Director retains moral rights (droit moral) over the creative work as stipulated by French law.

4. The production is to be filmed primarily in France Paris and the surrounding Île-de-France region. Any location shooting outside this region will require a supplementary Quotation Estimate and prior written approval from both parties.

5. Force majeure events, including but not limited to strikes, natural disasters, or government-mandated shutdowns affecting the film industry in France, will suspend obligations under this agreement without penalty to either party.

6. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed the definitive production agreement. All terms herein are subject to the final contract terms.

7. Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent contract shall be resolved by the competent courts of Paris, France, or by arbitration under the rules of the Paris International Arbitration Centre (CCI) at the client's election.

Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes Lumière Productions SARL to proceed with the booking and engagement of the specified Film Director for the production in France Paris as described herein.
