4.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates and availability of the Film Director may be subject to revision.
4.2 The Film Director retains full creative authority over artistic decisions during production in Japan Kyoto, subject to mutual agreement with the client on major narrative or budgetary changes.
4.3 All shooting locations within Japan Kyoto require prior written permission from the Kyoto City Cultural Properties Bureau and relevant landowners. The Film Director will coordinate all permit applications, and associated fees are included in Line Item 6 of this Quotation Estimate.
4.4 In the event of force majeure (natural disasters, government-mandated shutdowns, or public health emergencies affecting Japan Kyoto), the production schedule may be extended without additional cost to the client, up to a maximum of ten (10) additional working days.
4.5 The Film Director and all associated crew members will comply with all Japanese labor laws, local Japan Kyoto filming regulations, and cultural heritage protection statutes.
4.6 Intellectual property rights in the final film shall be owned by the client. The Film Director retains the right to display the work in professional portfolios and festival submissions, subject to a 90-day embargo from the film's official release.
4.7 Any changes to the scope of work, additional shooting days, or relocation of production outside Japan Kyoto must be documented in a written amendment to this Quotation Estimate and signed by both parties before execution.
4.8 All payments are due within fourteen (14) days of invoice date. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month.
