- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, rates may be revised to reflect market conditions in the New Zealand Wellington production sector.
- The Film Director reserves the right to decline or reassign creative decisions that conflict with the agreed-upon production brief. All major creative deviations must be approved in writing by the client's Head of Production.
- Shooting in New Zealand Wellington is subject to local weather conditions. The contingency allowance (Item 6) covers up to five (5) weather-delay days. Additional delays beyond this threshold will be billed at the Film Director's daily rate of NZD $1,150 per day.
- All filming within the City of Wellington Council jurisdiction requires valid filming permits. The Film Director will assist in the permit application process; however, permit fees and council levies are the client's responsibility.
- Intellectual property: All creative direction, storyboards, shot lists, and editorial notes produced by the Film Director during the engagement shall become the property of Harbourlight Media Group upon full payment of this Quotation Estimate.
- Cancellation: Should the client cancel the engagement after pre-production has commenced, a minimum of 50% of the total Quotation Estimate value shall be retained as a non-refundable commitment fee.
- This agreement is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation in Wellington, New Zealand, in accordance with the New Zealand Disputes Resolution Act 2010.
- The Film Director is an independent contractor and not an employee of Harbourlight Media Group. All tax obligations, including PAYE and ACC levies, are the responsibility of the contracting entity (Aroha Tane Productions Ltd).
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Film Director services in New Zealand Wellington. The engagement shall commence upon receipt of the initial 25% payment and execution of the full production services agreement.
