This Quotation Estimate is subject to the following payment schedule, which is standard for Film Director engagements in the South Africa Johannesburg production industry:

30% deposit (R 95,275.20) due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and signing of the service agreement, prior to the commencement of pre-production activities.
40% progress payment (R 127,033.60) due upon completion of principal photography and delivery of the rough cut for review.
30% final balance (R 95,275.20) due upon final delivery of the completed film and written acceptance by the client.
All payments are to be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the company bank account. Invoices will be issued in accordance with South African tax regulations.
Late payments will attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by the National Credit Act, whichever is lower.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, rates may be revised to reflect current market conditions in the South Africa Johannesburg production sector.
The Film Director retains full creative authority over artistic and technical decisions during the production process, subject to the agreed-upon creative brief and client approval milestones.
All intellectual property rights in the final delivered film shall transfer to the client upon full payment. The Film Director reserves the right to include the project in their professional portfolio and showreel, subject to a mutual non-disclosure agreement if required.
Any changes to the scope of work, additional shooting days, or extended post-production timelines will be subject to a revised Quotation Estimate issued by Apex Visual Productions (Pty) Ltd.
This engagement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting service agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa Johannesburg.
The Film Director shall comply with all applicable South African labour laws, health and safety regulations (including the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993), and any local municipal permits required for filming in the Johannesburg area.
Force majeure events, including but not limited to load-shedding disruptions, severe weather, or government-imposed restrictions, may result in schedule adjustments without penalty to either party.

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Film Director services to be performed in South Africa Johannesburg under the terms and conditions set out herein. This acceptance constitutes a binding agreement between the parties.
