All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). VAT is applied in accordance with United Kingdom tax legislation. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue.
- This Quotation Estimate constitutes a formal offer for the services of the named Film Director and is binding upon acceptance by both parties. Acceptance must be confirmed in writing (email or signed copy) within thirty (30) days of the issue date stated above.
- All filming, post-production, and creative meetings referenced in this Quotation Estimate shall take place within the United Kingdom Birmingham metropolitan area unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any relocation of production to a different region of the United Kingdom will require a revised Quotation Estimate and additional travel costs.
- The Film Director retains full creative authority over artistic decisions during the production period. The Client reserves the right to request up to two (2) editorial revisions at no additional cost, as specified in line item 05. Further revisions will be charged at the Film Director's standard daily rate.
- Payment terms: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of principal photography, and the remaining 30% upon final delivery of the completed film. All payments are due within fourteen (14) days of invoice date. Late payments will incur interest at 2% per month in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (United Kingdom).
- The Film Director shall comply with all applicable United Kingdom health and safety regulations, including those enforced by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), and shall carry adequate public liability insurance for all activities conducted in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
- Intellectual property: Upon full and final payment, all rights to the finished film or video content shall transfer to the Client. The Film Director retains the right to include the work in their professional portfolio and showreel, subject to a thirty (30) day prior notice to the Client.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather affecting filming in Birmingham, United Kingdom, industrial action, or government-imposed restrictions.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties. The Film Director reserves the right to withdraw this Quotation Estimate at any time prior to written acceptance.
