- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all rates and availability of the Film Director are subject to re-evaluation.
- All services will be performed by the designated Film Director, Mr. Daniel R. Whitfield, or by a credentialed substitute of equivalent experience approved in writing by the Client. The Film Director shall maintain full creative authority over all directorial decisions during the engagement.
- The production is based in United States San Francisco. Any filming locations extending beyond a 60-mile radius of San Francisco City Hall will incur additional travel and accommodation charges at a rate of $185.00 per diem, billed separately.
- The Film Director is engaged as an independent contractor under the laws of the State of California and the United States. No employer-employee relationship is created by this Quotation Estimate.
- San Francisco Film Commission permits, insurance certificates (minimum $2,000,000 general liability), and all required California state production filings are the responsibility of the Client unless otherwise stated in the itemized breakdown above.
- Weather-related delays exceeding three (3) consecutive days due to San Francisco fog, wind, or rain will be documented by the Film Director and may extend the production schedule without additional cost to the Client, up to a maximum of five (5) additional days.
- All intellectual property in the final delivered footage, including the Film Director's creative contributions, shall be assigned to the Client upon full payment of this Quotation Estimate. The Film Director retains the right to display the work in personal portfolios and festival submissions.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
- Early termination by either party requires thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the Client shall pay for all services rendered up to the termination date plus a 10% cancellation fee on the remaining balance.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include costs for cast compensation, equipment rental, post-production sound mixing, or distribution, which shall be quoted separately.
