Terms and Conditions
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are subject to a 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST) as per New Zealand Inland Revenue requirements.
- All Firefighter training services will be delivered by certified instructors holding current New Zealand Fire Service (NZFS) accreditation and relevant NZQA unit standards. Training will be conducted at the Wellington Fire & Rescue Services training facility in Te Aro unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Payment terms: 50% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, with the remaining 50% due within fourteen (14) days of completion of all installation and training activities. The annual maintenance contract (Item 06) will be invoiced quarterly in advance.
- All equipment supplied under this Quotation Estimate carries a minimum two-year manufacturer's warranty. Firefighter PPE (Item 08) carries a five-year service life warranty in accordance with NFPA 1971 standards as adopted in New Zealand.
- Work will be scheduled to minimise disruption to building tenants. All installation work in New Zealand Wellington will comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and Wellington City Council building consent requirements where applicable.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a contract until signed and returned by both parties. Upon acceptance, a formal Service Agreement will be issued within five (5) business days.
- Any variation to the scope of work must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to commencement. Additional Firefighter services not included in this estimate will be quoted separately at the prevailing hourly rate of NZD 185.00 per hour plus materials.
- Wellington Fire & Rescue Services Ltd. maintains a minimum of $10,000,000 in public liability insurance and $5,000,000 in professional indemnity insurance, with certificates available upon request.
