This Quotation Estimate is issued by TerraScope Geotechnical Consulting Co., Ltd. in response to the formal request for geological investigation services for the Guangzhou Metro Phase III extension project. The scope of work outlined herein pertains exclusively to the engagement of a qualified Geologist and supporting field team to conduct comprehensive subsurface characterization, geological mapping, and environmental risk assessment across the designated corridor in China Guangzhou. All pricing, deliverables, and timelines presented in this document are binding upon mutual acceptance and execution of the accompanying service agreement.

The Lead Geologist, Dr. Wei Zhang (Registered Geologist, Guangdong Provincial Geological Bureau, License No. GD-2019-0347), will oversee all field and laboratory activities. The scope encompasses the following deliverables specific to the China Guangzhou geological context, including the Pearl River alluvial deposits, Quaternary soft clay layers, and underlying Cretaceous sandstone formations:

This Quotation Estimate proposes the following milestone-based payment structure, payable within 15 business days of invoice issuance:

  • Advance Payment (30%): CNY 571,478 — due upon contract execution and mobilization of the Geologist team to the China Guangzhou site.
  • Progress Payment (40%): CNY 761,970 — due upon completion of all field drilling, in-situ testing, and groundwater monitoring activities.
  • Final Payment (30%): CNY 571,478 — due upon delivery and formal acceptance of the Final Geological Investigation Report.
  • This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in China Guangzhou.
  • The Lead Geologist and all field personnel shall comply with the regulations of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Natural Resources and the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources.
  • All borehole locations must be approved in writing by the client and the local Guangzhou municipal planning authority prior to mobilization of drilling rigs.
  • Any change in scope, additional boreholes, or extended field duration beyond the quantities stated in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a formal change-order and supplementary pricing.
  • The Geologist and TerraScope Geotechnical Consulting Co., Ltd. shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of CNY 10,000,000 for the duration of the project.
  • All data, core samples, and reports generated under this engagement shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full payment.
  • Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through arbitration under the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) in Guangzhou.

This Quotation Estimate assumes normal working conditions in China Guangzhou, including access to the site without obstruction, availability of municipal water and electricity at the field camp, and standard weather conditions. The following are explicitly excluded: environmental impact assessment (EIA) licensing fees, third-party laboratory testing beyond standard geotechnical parameters, demolition or removal of existing structures, and any remediation works identified during the investigation.
