1. Purpose and Scope of This Quotation Estimate
This Quotation Estimate is issued by GeoAndina Consultores S.A.S. to formally present the professional fees, technical deliverables, and associated costs for the engagement of a licensed Geologist to conduct comprehensive geological and geotechnical investigations in the Colombia Bogotá region. The scope of work has been tailored to the specific requirements of the client's urban development project located in the Chía corridor, within the greater Colombia Bogotá metropolitan area, where the geological conditions of the Andean foothills present unique challenges that demand expert geological assessment.
The Geologist engaged under this Quotation Estimate will operate in strict compliance with Colombian regulatory frameworks, including the regulations established by the Ministerio de Minas y Energía, the CREG (Comisión de Regulación de Energía y Gas), and the local environmental authorities of Cundinamarca. All deliverables will be prepared in accordance with the Colombian National Technical Standards (NTC) and the applicable provisions of the Código de Minas de Colombia.
2. Detailed Scope of Geologist Services
The professional Geologist will perform the following activities as part of this Quotation Estimate engagement:
- Desktop Geological Study: Review and interpretation of existing geological maps, seismic hazard data from the Servicio Geológico Colombiano (SGC), and historical geotechnical reports for the Colombia Bogotá region.

4. Payment Terms
As stipulated in this Quotation Estimate, payment shall be structured as follows: 30% advance payment upon contract signing, 40% upon completion of all fieldwork and borehole supervision in the Colombia Bogotá project site, and 30% upon delivery and formal acceptance of the final geological report. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of GeoAndina Consultores S.A.S. in Colombian Pesos (COP). Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established by the Banco de la República de Colombia.
5. Project Timeline
The total estimated duration for the Geologist engagement under this Quotation Estimate is eight (8) weeks from the date of contract execution. The fieldwork phase in the Colombia Bogotá area is anticipated to span three (3) weeks, while laboratory analysis and report preparation will require the remaining five (5) weeks. A detailed Gantt chart will be provided as an annex upon contract signing.
Important Notes Regarding This Quotation Estimate:- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be subject to revision due to market fluctuations in Colombia Bogotá.
- All prices are quoted in Colombian Pesos (COP) and are inclusive of the professional fees of the Geologist but exclusive of third-party laboratory costs, which are itemized separately.
- The Geologist reserves the right to issue supplementary reports or additional field visits if unforeseen geological conditions are encountered during the investigation in the Colombia Bogotá project area.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed the formal service agreement.
6. Terms and Conditions
6.1 The Geologist shall maintain full professional liability insurance coverage throughout the duration of the engagement in Colombia Bogotá.
6.2 The client shall provide safe access to the project site, necessary permits from local Colombia Bogotá authorities, and all logistical support required for field operations.
6.3 All data, reports, and intellectual property generated under this Quotation Estimate shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full payment.
6.4 Either party may terminate the agreement with fifteen (15) days written notice. In such case, the client shall pay for all services rendered up to the termination date as per this Quotation Estimate.
6.5 Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in Bogotá D.C., Colombia, in accordance with the rules of the Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá.
